A Short Summary of My Healthi Journey

Rachel started her weight loss journey in July of 2018, at a starting weight of 213.8 pounds. Using the Calorie Command plan with iTrackBites Rachel has lost a total of 28.8 pounds. Some of that weight has crept back on since the start of the pandemic. Rachel’s goal will not necessarily be a number on the scale just that she feels healthy and looks good in her clothing. Rachel has learned over the years that numbers on the scale will fluctuate for many reasons in life and uses the scale as a measurement tool only. Rachel has learned during her journey with iTrackBites that keeping her weight under control lasts a lifetime. After hitting a goal doesn’t mean the journey is over. Rachel continues her weight loss journey using the app to track her meals and enjoys the recipe builder when creating new meals.

I am a Registered Nurse and used to help deliver babies.

Favorite Feature or Tip for Using Healthi

Pre-track your food as much as you can before you start your day, even the night before. It's easier to change a food item you've already entered than it is to remember what you ate after the fact. Also by pre-tracking you have more control over value of foods rather than tracking afterwards finding out you over ate your intended bites/calorie consumption for the day.

Walkers Group is fun to see how creative you all are especially with the changing of the seasons and walking inside/outside to get those steps in each day.

What's the One thing I've Learnt about Healthi?

I've learned community is key! Staying in touch with like minded people helps to keep me on track. Checking in often with a group of people helps with my accountability.
